Edit Experience Settings

***Note: You will only be able to edit Experience settings for an Experience that you are the owner or admin of. 

Web App and Mobile Browser

  1. Click on the Experience icon (sign post) at the top of your screen

Update Experience Title and Background Image

  1. Click on the Settings Tab (1) inside the experience.
  2. To change the background image, click on the image (2) and either upload new image or select from stock photos.
  3. To change the Experience title, click in the title field (3) and enter a new title.
  4. Then click Save.

Add Search Tags

  1. You can add Experience tags, which are searchable on your main Experience timeline. Add a new tag and click enter (4).
  2. Then click Save.

Change Experience Admins and Transfer Ownership

  1. To add a new Experience admin, click in the Experience admin field (5), and click on the Experience member you want to add. Note, the admin must be a member of the experience.
  2. To transfer ownership, click in the transfer ownership field (6), and select the Experience member you want to transfer ownership to. Note, the new owner must be a member of the experience.
  3. Then click Save.

Select the Experience Tabs you Want to Display

  1. Click on the Settings Tab (1) inside the experience.
  2. Click on/off the Tabs you wish to display (2).

Disable Notifications

  1. If you have a lot of members, you may want to turn off notifications. Check on/off if you want to get notifications when members accept the Experiences (3).
  2. Check on/off if you want to get notifications when members accept the Calendar Events inside the Experiences.

Media Approvals

  1. You may want to approve images that are uploaded before they go live for members of the Experience to see. Here you select image approval (4).

Show as Individual Calendar Entries

  1. By default, Experium bunches together on the main user calendar all the Calendar Events in an Experience. It appears as a line across the corresponding days with the title of the Experience. It is clickable to see the details. This is often useful if you have an Experience with many Calendar Events in it. If you wish to see all Calendar Events separately listed on your master Calendar, just click here (5).

Viewer Settings

  1. Viewers are people that aren't actively participating in an Experience. They have fewer access rights. By default a Viewer can't invite another Viewer to an Experience. You can change this setting here (11).
  2. Viewers by default also can't access the Experience Chat. This can be changed here (11).

Change Calendar Display Default Date

  1. By default, Experium displays the first date of the Experience in the summary. If you have an Experience that extends over a long period, you can have the calendar default to display the current date instead (6).

  1. Once inside the Experience you want to edit the settings of, click on the settings icon (1) and then click on edit (2).
  2. Click on the Experience title field (3) and enter the new title.
  3. Click on the image (4) and either upload new image or select from stock photos.
  4. Then click Save.

  3. Then click Save.

Select the Experience Tabs you Want to Display

  1. Click on the Settings Tab (1) inside the experience and scroll down.
  2. Click on/off the Tabs you wish to display (2).
