Chat with Experium Connections, Groups, and Experience Members

Chat with Others

You can chat with Connections, Groups and individual Connections.

Web App and Mobile Browser

  1. Click on the Chat tab on the left side of the screen (1) or at the Chat icon at the top right (6).
  2. Select an existing Chat (2) or click the + button (7) at the bottom right to create a new chat.
  3. Type your communication into the message field at the bottom of the page (3).
  4. You can filter your chats as well. Just click on the category or enter a search term (5).
To quote a previous chat in a new chat, simply hover over the chat entry (must be one someone else posted - you can't quote your own), and then click on the arrow (4). Here is where you add an emoji as well.



***Note: You can also chat from the Summary Page of a Group or Experience or from the chat icon on a Connection's card (contact card icon on the top navigation bar).

Android and iOS Mobile

  1. Click on the chat icon at the top of the main screen (or the bottom) (1). You can filter your chats by clicking the following icons (2):
    1. Recent chats (time icon)
    2. Connections (chat icon with a smiley face)
    3. Experiences (Experium logo)
    4. Groups (people icon)
    5. Business (building icon)
  2. Alternatively, when inside an Experience or Group, you can also click on the chat icon at the bottom or the screen and chat directly to the members of the Experience or Group.

To quote a previous chat: long hold the chat response, click reply and then type your response. This is available in Android but not yet in iOS.
