Create a Custom Group Discussion Channel


**Note: Custom Group channels must be enabled in Group settings by the Group owner. 
**Note: Chat is the single, overall group chat channel. Discussions allows custom chat subjects (think forums) in addition to the single overall Group chat.

Web App and Mobile Browser

When inside a Group, click on the Chat tab on the Group navigation bar (1). The first tab that displays for chat is for the Group Chat. The second tab "Discussions" is where you create custom subject Group chats. Click on Discussions (2) and then the + button to create your custom subject Group chat (3).



Android and iOS Mobile

When inside the Group you want to create a custom Group Discussion for, click on the chat icon at the bottom of the screen (1), then click Discussions (2) and fill in the necessary information to create your custom Group Discussion Channel (3).
